Hello Snack Cakes,
Tonight was a fun night in NYC. I dressed up like a preppy kid (something I may be getting into). Met up with my friend Taylor and together we saw a comedy show, went to shake shack and then caught the second half of a funky jam concert for FREE. I met some cool people with whom I had enjoyable conversations and a few drinks. Then came home and rained FREEDOM on some terrorists in Call of Duty! Can’t beat that! Or can you?? March Madness. For those that don’t know, March Madness is a basketball tournament where the best of the best college teams play each other for the championship title. People go ape shit over this stuff. Once my high school teacher brought his own antenna to school and instead of conducting class he put on the Michigan State game, I remember because that was his college. Beach House – Devotion
I love this album! The first time I listened to it was on a flight from SF to NY. After the first play through I put it right back on and put it on repeat for the rest of the 5hr+ flight. I can’t do that with many albums. When you’re in the mood for something you can just drift in and out of it’s perfect. I imagine I’d play it in the background while reading a book (if I read), or while soaking in the tub, eating a dove bar and feeling fancy (if I could fit in one); instead, I just play it before going to sleep (that I can do). It’s just absolutely beautiful.
